Making a Spiral Pipe Cleaner Mini Christmas Tree

Category Decorations
This cute mini Christmas tree is made using a pipe cleaner, pom poms, a cork, and a bit of craft sheet foam. Set them around the house as tiny spots of holiday cheer. The kids can use them to decorate a doll's house or Lego house. There are surely more ideas for putting them to use in your holiday decorating and gift giving activities.

This is a cute little miniature Christmas tree toy decoration - would be fun for a toddler's doll house, to pair with a Lego house as the Christmas tree, make as a place setting card, turn into an ornament, or just use as little decorations for your home. It is very easy to make and will turn out cute and fun!

Total Time: 25 minutes

  • corks
  • foam sheet
  • pipe cleaners
  • pom pom
  • ribbons
  • stickers
  • glue

  1. Trace a circular object larger than your cork on a foam sheet and cut out.
  2. Using a pipe cleaner, wrap it around your finger and adjust to create a spiral resembling a Christmas tree.
  3. Apply glue onto the cork pieces (cut corks if needed) and glue on foam circles. Then apply glue on top of the foam circle to glue on the spiral pipe cleaner.
  4. The miniature tree is ready to decorate. Decorate with any supplies you have like pom poms, ribbon, and for the top of the tree, I used a star sticker!
