Mini Gumball Machine Christmas Ornament

I saw this idea at a craft boutique and since I had the supplies to make one, I made my own version.

Total Time: 30 minutes

Yield: 1

Supplies:

  • red paint and paintbrush
  • 1 small flower pot
  • 1 plastic or glass bulb
  • black permanent marker
  • wing nut
  • nut
  • Gorilla glue
  • painter's tape
  • beads or pom poms
  • 9" piece of Christmas ribbon for hanging

Steps:

  1. Paint the terra cotta pot with red paint. Fill bulb with round beads or pom poms.
  2. Using Gorilla glue, glue the bulb to bottom of the pot.
  3. Using painter's tape, hold the bulb in place until it's dry. Remove the tape. Glue the wing nut to the base of the candy dispenser and using a black permanent marker, draw and color in a circle. Add ribbon to the top of the ornament for hanging.
