Scrap Quilt for a Baby Boy
This baby boy quilt is made from scraps of fabric I had leftover from other projects, which I did not want to go to waste.
Mermaid Tail Purse
This mermaid purse was inspired by an image I found online. I used some scraps of shiny fabric, found a pattern online, and designed my own version of a mermaid purse using the idea from an image I found.
Keepsake Fabric Boxes
These fabric boxes were made from fabric scraps I found among my mother's sewing supplies after she passed away. I thought it would be nice to make them up into something usable, but also memorable, so I made each of my children a fabric box to use for storing trinkets or for serving bread or rolls. It is also a way to remember their grandmother, an avid quilter.
Yo Yo Christmas Angel Ornament
This is a little Christmas angel made from leftover yo yos from a yo yo pillow project I made recently.
While at the botanical gardens in Tempe, Arizona, I saw the chipmunk along the trail having a little snack and striking a pose! Gotcha little guy!
A "handed down" English main dish pudding recipe from my great grandmother Lydia Butcher Seager. I had my first bite of the pudding when I was about eight years old. I was hesitant because it didn't look very appetizing. But I was wrong! It was delicious. The salt pork crust is the secret to the recipe's great flavor.
