Under Christmas food ideas for men someone named Deb mentioned they made beef jerky. I would like some beef jerky recipes. Shirley B
Architectural Ideas for A German Theme Home
I have been thinking of altering the exterior look of my home to give it a German Theme appearance. Where does one begin searching for architectural ideas? I own a small one floor bungalow. -Eric
Preparing Branches and Pine Cones for Crafts
I want to make some craft projects using outdoor items but would prefer to not bring bugs into my house when I do. What do you guys do to make sure that bugs aren't still on outdoor items for crafts?
Make Them Buckle Up
When people get in your auto, make sure they buckle up. If they don't do it automatically, remind them by saying to them, "My car won't start until everyone is buckled up.
Comfortable Seat Belt For Short People
I am a short person and when I buckle up, the seat belt cuts into my neck. I saw an ad for an item that would help the situation, it was $3.99. Being frugal I thought there must be something as good and less expensive.

Using Borax Instead of Bleach
When washing whites, use borax rather than bleach to whiten. Bleach can cause yellowing if used a great deal and will eat holes in your clothes after a number of uses. I find borax is a better whitening agent for the fabrics I wear.

Poison Ivy Treatment
If you come into contact with poison ivy use your hair dryer to blow on it to "itch" it without spreading it. Helps to dry it out quicker. Forget over the counter stuff, they don't work anyway. By Melanie
Target and the Salvation Army
Hello! This is more of an opinion than a tip. I think it's terrible that Target stores will not let the Salvation Army bell ringers stand outside their stores this holiday season! They help many people. I for one will NOT be shopping at Target this season! By aeromama
Compress Treatment for a Sty
My neighbors youngest son had a sty on his eye lid. A sty is a plugged-up oil gland or sweat pore on your eyelid. I remember what a doctor once recommended for my son and told them about it.
