Stains Showing Through Paint
We have a 1940's bungalow that had cheap wood paneling in three rooms. We painted one room and decided to remove the paneling in other two rooms that had plaster behind them. We tore it down, removed all nails and scraped the chunks of glue off, leaving behind the stains from the glue strips.

How to clean 30 years worth of dirt of a floor?
I've recently moved into a new house and am at my wits end trying to clean the kitchen floors. The floor is approximately 30 year old linoleum. This was previously a rental property, so you can imagine the mess. I've tried conventional floor cleaners and also clorox spray cleaner. Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated since I can't afford to replace the floor any time soon.

Have To Hold Down The Handle To Flush
I installed a new flapper on my Commode, the old one was leaking out water, and now In order to flush it you have to hold down the handle until all water is out of the bowl. Why is this? did I forget something that keeps the flapper up while the water goes into the bowl?

Organizing the Nursery

Place the potatoes in a 2-quart pot and cover with water. Boil for about 12 minutes, until tender. Remove the potatoes with a slotted spoon, rinse with cool water, and set aside.
Spinach and Tortellini Soup
Spray bottom of large saucepan with cooking spray; heat over medium heat until hot. Saute carrots, green onions, garlic, and basil until onions are tender, about 5 minutes.
In large deep skillet, add chicken breast, cook until no longer pink. Add soup, then water, and vegetables into skillet, and cook until hot. Add salt and pepper (optional).

N Is for Nutty Marshmallow Bars
Microwave chocolate and peanut butter in 2 quart bowl on medium heat 2-3 minutes until melted, stirring often. Fold in marshmallows and nuts, stir well. Pour into buttered 8x8x2 pan. Chill until firm.
