Use Salt To Extend The Life Of NylonsI soak my nylons in warm water with soap and add a tablespoon of table salt to the water. I let soak at least 1-2 hours, then I dry them on delicate or hung over the shower curtain rod. The salt is a natural preservative and it toughens up the nylon!
Removing Pet Hair with Dishwashing GlovesTo remove pet hair, use a plastic gloves from the dollar store, 10 pair for $1.00. Place one glove on your hand. Sweep the area with the glove. Hair will all ball up and be easy to pick up. Reuse the glove as many times as you need to.
