Freezing Meat and Poultry
Wrap all meat products well before you freeze them. This prevents flavor changes and drying of the meat. Heavy duty foil and coated freezer paper are excellent barriers to both air and moisture.
Rolling Towels for Storage
In my airing/linen cupboard I like to roll up my towels into little sausages!

Uses for an Empty Plastic Wrap Roll
Don't throw out your plastic wrap cylinder just yet. I've discovered that if it has a small amount of plastic wrap left on its roll, it makes for an excellent rolling pin.
Using Less Toilet Tissue
Sometimes (especially for children), it's easy to use more toilet paper than you really need. Although I don't have kids, I've found I use a lot less toilet paper by keeping a bean bag (or something similar) laying on top of the toilet roll.
Contact Lens Case for Pills
Thoroughly clean an old contact lens cases to use for pill box. They keep a couple aspirin or other medications handy in purse or pocket. I also use them to store small brads and other tiny scrap booking items.
Frugal Way to Cool Down
Wet a washcloth with cold water and wring out. Place over an inverted bowl in the freezer. Thirty minutes later you have a 'cool' hat to wear.

Lemon Tea Bread
Combine first 4 ingredients with 1 cup sugar in bowl, mixing well. Add dry ingredients, beating until smooth.
Large Ham and Cheese Quiche
Line bottom of buttered 9x13 inch pan with croutons. Sprinkle with ham and cheese.

No-Roll Cherry Pie
Melt butter with 1 Tbsp. sugar in saucepan. Add 1 cup flour and stir until mixture forms a ball.
Sea Glass Candy
In pot, dissolve 2 cups sugar, 3/4 cup light corn syrup, and 3/4 cup butter.
Making Frozen French Fries
You can make frozen French fried potatoes at home. The mealy type potato is best. Use mature potatoes you have stored for at least 30 days.
Ridding My Garden of Clover
I have clover that got in my garden, when I planted some iris bulbs. Now it is every where. Any clue on how to get rid of it with out killing my iris or other plants? I've dug it out several times and it just gets thicker.
