Kid Friendly Bean Recipes?I have the opposite problem of most parents. My four year old son loves fruits and vegetables, so it can be hard to get him to eat proteins sometimes! We're on a limited budget, and I know beans are both nutritious and inexpensive. I'm wondering if anyone has any healthy recipes or ideas for bean-related dishes. Of course there's chili, etc. but I'm looking for some more unique ideas.
Dealing With an Unexpected Job Loss?My husband just lost his job unexpectedly. I work part-time, and we have a 3 year old son. I'm looking for any tips from others who have been through a job loss. Are Leather Couches Kid-Friendly?Our current couch was a hand-me-down from my grandparents, and after 10 years of us owning it, it has about had it! I'm considering buying a new couch in the not so distant future.
Forest Theme Party?My four year old son has requested a "forest" theme for his next birthday party! I have a few ideas, such as a forest theme cake, a plant as a party favor, etc. I figured we could also have knapsacks or tote bags filled with "hiking" type goodies as a party favor: trail mix, a toy compass, etc.
