This is our son Curtis and his pet raccoon Ronnie on one of his visits home. Curtis found Ronnie three years ago, abandoned by his mother on the side of a busy country road. Ronnie was very tiny and his eyes were barely open.

Catnap by the Bird CagePeanut the cat knows not to touch the bird cage or he gets a quick spray of water. He just happened to fall asleep touching the cage.

Phoenix (Rooster)The two thinkers. Here is Phoenix my pet rooster, looking at his statue friend, who seems to be looking right back at him. I couldn't resist taking this photo.

Spike and Sam (Beagles)Spike and Sam are Beagles. We got Spike in September of 2010 and Sam in Dec of 2011. They are brothers, just from different litters.

Billina, a Splash Cochin Bantam with several of her chicks

Billina (Splash Cochin Bantam)We got our little Cochin Bantam hen along with her sister and brother at the pet store. She likes to scratch in the dirt, ride on my husband's shoulder, come for a visit into the house, sit on eggs, and hatch little baby chicks.

Tiger and Sassy (Chihuahua)This little guy Tiger is really full of life! I bought him for my elderly mom to keep her company as she lost her blue chihuahua boy who she had for 12 years. Tiger is really a rare colored chiahuahua, like a striped cat.
