A bag of socks hanging in the closet.

Easy Bag Storage
What a creative idea. I do keep my socks in rubbermaid, but am looking for an alternative. This might be it!

How to Get the Last Drop of Spray Cleaner
what a simple, brilliant tip!

A hard boiled egg inside a cup.

Peel Hard Boiled Eggs Easily
I do that too! I find the littler spoons work best. I have soft boiled egg cups and little spoons to go with them, and those little spoons are great for the purpose.

Milk jug tomato planter hanging in tree.

Homemade Upside Down Tomato Planter
Its not my post, but Id guess the reflective cloth is to keep it from heating up and drying the soil out too fast. I have a cement patio that gets sun all day long, and it is hard to keep any container plants moistened under those conditions.

Replacing Mini Blinds?
Perhaps you would be interested in using the mini blind hardware to create your own sheer shade? Heres a fun tutorial on that: http://littlegreennotebook.blogspot.com/2009/02/make-shades-out-of-mini-blinds.html

Spice Rack in Kitchen

Under Cabinet Spice Rack
The molding used is not the typical molding you think if which goes around door frames and has a detailed curve to it. This is basically PVC vinyl beams that you can buy at the home improvement store. They sell it in lots of sizes. Its white all the way through...

Organizing Kids Clothing?
I used some put-them-together cubes in the top shelf of the closet. I use them as open face bins, one with clothes too big for each child. When an older sibling outgrows something, it goes in the too big for bin for the next child who might wear it.

Cleaning Up Your Wallet
keeping the key tags in the car is brilliant.

Handing in the window.

Window Jack O'Lantern
Thanks! Cardboard is an awesome idea! I will admit, mine had some teeth until I goofed (as I do when carving pumpkins as well) and cut it out as a plain smile. Haha. Maybe Ill get the one for the upstairs window right.

Mount a Spice Rack on the Wall
I love the idea of using a pre-made rack. I did something similar (I think) to your Grandfathers meter stick rack. I love that he used meter sticks. http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf59047993.tip.html#fb_665126624

Alternatives to Shredding Important Papers?
Handmade paper from bills is a beautiful idea (I have not put in practice yet), just as several folks say they have soaked papers, the next step is to mush it up in a blender and then spread it out to dry into new sheets, adding whatever fun things you like...

Substitute Cheaper Ingredients When Cooking
Quite apart from flavor, it is also important to consider lost nutrients and the addition of synthetic chemicals into the diet when making thrifty substitutions. They can have long term health consequences.
