Cash in on Recycling DepositsThis seems obvious, but it's still a good tip. Here is California we are charged a surcharge when we buy soda. I always recycle the cans and bottles at a recycling center instead of just throwing them away. This way is better for the environment, and I get money back!

Prevent Roaches and Ants with Boric AcidWhen I was growing up, we used Boric Acid powder around our baseboards in the kitchen, around the backsplash on the counters and in the drawers and cabinets to prevent roaches, ants, etc.
Paper TipUse the opposite side of paper in your printer instead of wasting it. Many times when I initially put in a new ink cartridge it takes a few sheets before it comes out clear. So I save the paper and use it when I copy recipes. Who cares if the back is not perfect as no one sees it any way. Happy printing.
