Wedding Decorations Using Ivy, White and Silver?I am getting married in April of this year. My colours are white and silver. I plan to create an ivy headress, and would like ideas of CHEAP ways to decorate the room, using ivy, white, and silver! Any ideas for wedding favours would also be gratefully received, and ways to use Ivy (and my colour scheme) that I haven't thought of. It is an intimate gathering with only four tables to decorate. Making Keepsakes for Bridesmaids?I have two slightly-stained white-satin wedding dresses that I purchased at yard sales. Both dresses are full-skirted and have attached net slips and train. I also have the veil for one dress.
My daughter is getting married in June and I would like to make keepsakes for her bridesmaids from some of this material, perhaps incorporating some of the beading, pearls, and lace trim.

Wedding Champange Flute CandlesWe did this for my daughter's wedding. I went to the thrift store and bought two beautiful matching crystal champagne flutes. I then melted wax (can be bought at craft stores.) I let the wax cool just a bit so it would not crack the crystal and added some glass glitter in blue and silver which were her colors. Now when she eats her one year cake she will have beautiful candles to light for the special one year anniversary.

Lodging for Friends and Family?I am starting to plan lodging for numerous family members. Some have money and probably will purchase their own hotel rooms, some don't have much money and I will need to help them out somehow. It's going to take a lot organize. Need Shelter for an Outdoor Wedding Reception?Hello, we are planning an outdoor reception, which is risky weather-wise. Anyone have any inexpensive ideas for providing cover in case it rains? Looking for Cheap Flowers for Wedding Arrangements?I am in charge of doing the flower arrangements for the wedding of a friend of mine. The couple decided that they would prefer a really nice honeymoon over a really expensive wedding which seems like a great idea to me. Looking for Monetary Gift Instructions?I was recently at a flea market and a woman was selling money gifts. The gifts were along the line of the money tree but one was a shirt with a bowtie in a cardboard box made from $5 and $1 bills. The other was flowers (with stems) made from money also. Does anyone have instructions for making these type of monetary gifts? I will be attending a wedding shower shortly and would like to give something similiar as a gift.
