Participate in Radio ContestsI actively participate in radio contests. My local station has lots of trivia, name that tune, and multiple choice contests. Usually the prize is a free lunch, a pizza, or an oil change. Not big bucks stuff, but hey, if I can win a free lunch every 30 days, why not go for it?

Use a "Magic Can" for Odds n' EndsI have a 3 lb coffee can that I add all screws, pieces of blinds, wing nuts, lamp parts and "what have you" that are left over. For over 30 years now if I have needed something to hang a picture, anchor or screw I just look in the "MAGIC CAN" and there it is.

Tips for Storing Toothbrushes?I keep seeing infomercial on tv for toothbrush sterilizer that claims much of the germs from sink and toilet use settle into toothbrushes, and by extension must settle on bath towels etc. Does anyone have tips on what solution to store toothbrushes?

Redbud Tree Doesn't Bud?I have two redbud trees that were purchased at a Home Depot in May of 2002. The trees have always appeared to be healthy but have NEVER had the beautiful reddish-purple blooms! (The blooms are why I wanted the trees!)
