Restoring a Rusty Washboard
I just came across an old washboard and it is in very good shape except the scrub part it is very rusty, I don't know if it is made out of aluminum or tin. I would like to display it but I would like to try and restore it somehow first.
Labeling Mason Jars
What is the best way to label mason jars so that when I wash the jars the label does not come off? Also, I'd prefer labels that aren't too costly and, if possible, eco-friendly.
Dog Scratching But I Don't See Any Fleas
My dog is acting like he has fleas, but I do not see any. He has white tan fur, and I should be able to see them (I would think). He keeps acting weird and looking at his tail and behind, and stands up and then sits down fast to see what is on him.

Buying Tower Vases
I'm looking for used Tower Vases to use as centerpieces for November 2007 wedding.
I buy plants that are marked down at stores that need to be re-potted. This way I get nice plants, but at a bargain price and save the life of a plant.
Birthday Candy Cake
Glue together each set of foam circles to make one thick circle in each size. Glue or pick pin each circle on top of each other. Make sure you get as close to middle as possible. Use low temp glue gun and start glueing the miniature candy bars all around.

Cream shortening, brown sugar and eggs together. Mix in bananas. In second bowl mix together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Add flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time, to banana mixture.
Easy Fruit Crepes
I make my pancake batter thin, then I put it in a hot frying pan and spread the batter thin. Brown both sides. Then take a can of cherry, apple or blueberry pie filling and fill crepe.

Crunchy Tuna Salad in Pepper Boats
Place pepper halves on plate. Microwave on high for 60 seconds; chill. Combine remaining ingredients; chill. Spoon tuna mixture into pepper halves to serve.
Anytime Fruit Cake
Mix first 8 ingredients together in bowl. Pour milk on mixture and mix well. Press into foil lined small bread pans. Bake 30 minutes at 300 degrees F. Remove from pans.
Oat Currant Bread
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 2 quart round casserole dish. In saucepan over medium high heat, heat buttermilk until very hot but not boiling. Remove from heat.
Pool Chlorine Tip
Having a hard time keeping chlorine in the pool? Check your stabilizer levels. Unstabilized chlorine will burn out of a pool with less than 4 hours of exposure to sunlight.

Stir boiling water and gelatin until dissolved. Cool and add tomato soup. Melt cheese in microwave just until runny, about 30 seconds. Add to gelatin mixture.
