Pepper lived to be 13, he was a Black Lab that I got at 6 weeks old, in 1992 from a friend of my aunt's. Pepper loved catching frisbees and balls. He also loved playing with children.

Schmitten the CatSchmitten is 4 years and a Tuxedo cat. We found him outside a restaurant begging for food. It was below freezing, only four degrees. Of course, we took him home with us to be ours. He is always grateful. This was three years ago.

Alex (American Shorthair/Splotched Tabby Mix)Alex is 1 year old and an American ShortHair/Splotched Tabby Mix. Copper (our dog) was barking in the new barn. My brother when in to find out what it was. My mom went in as my brother went behind the bales, and low and behold, a kitten walked out!

Gracie (Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle)Gracie is 10 months and a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle. We found her on Petfinder and Craigslist. She and her siblings were in a shelter and they (plus other dogs) were due to be put down within the next few days.

Howlie and Lilly (Bassett Hounds)This is Howlie and her sister, Lilly. They are 22 months old Basset Hounds. I received Howlie in December of 2007 at six weeks old. I received Lilly when she was 6 months old in June of 2008. I got both of them from my son. He has the Mama and Daddy and their other sister.

Babe (Tabby)Babe is a Tabby who is around 16 years old. The elderly woman, across the street from us had Babe, and she loved him like a child. When she passed ten years ago, we took Babe in.

Sadie (Terrier Mix)Sadie, we guess, is about 5 years old. We rescued her from a shelter a couple of years ago, and the vet guessed she was two at the time. She is such a joy.

Darla Rose (Yorkshire Terrier)Darla Rose is a 10 week old Yorkshire Terrier. This is our beautiful new "Grand Dog," Darla Rose, on her ride home to her new family. She is 10 weeks old, weighs 2 lbs and is a big fur fluff.
