At Thanksgiving, I made a simple cake from a recipe I found on Thriftyfun. Today I tried a different version and oh-my-goodness! Delicious!

Amish Sweet SpreadI would love to slather this spread on homemade Amish bread. Since I can't bake for a darn, and there are no bakeries in my area where Amish bread is available, I'll have to be content with spreading on toast, dinner rolls, and bagels.

Peppermint Hot ChocolateMy kids love this and so does my husband. The kids are always asking for it. It makes a nice treat after they have been out in the cold.

Creamy Tomato Bacon PastaI tried this the other day. It's easy and feeds everyone. I have 5 kids at home and it satisfies all. It is inexpensive as well.
