Shell Crochet Infant Hat

Shell Crochet Infant HatI wanted to make a hat for a gift and needed a larger infant size. I googled on the internet for patterns and found this one. It is suppose to fit infants 6-12 months. The shell detail would show much better with yarn that isn't fuzzy. The yarn is very soft and fun.

A completed set of flannel baby burp cloths

Baby Burp ClothsI had extra fabric after making bibs for my niece. You never have enough burp clothes when babies are small, at least not many that look fun, so I made these for my brother and his wife. They're also large enough to mop up spills when my niece gets older.

Chocolate Chips for Easy Frosting

Chocolate Chips for Easy FrostingUse chocolate chips for an easy frosting. While your cake or brownies are still warm, put chocolate chips on let sit a few minutes to warm them. Once they begin to melt, spread with a table knife.

finished bibs

Reversible Baby BibThis bib was based on the need for a larger bib for my children when they were young. I noticed that when babies started eating solid food you could find waterproof large bibs, the only draw back is they don't absorb much when they drool when teething or spit up.

stained mug

Easily Remove Coffee Stains From MugsNormally I use baking soda and rub the stains out, but it was all gone. The cups also had some lime deposits on them so I thought I'd use vinegar to remove those and found I only had apple cider vinegar.
