Curtain Color Advice?
Wow, thanks everyone. I like all your suggestions. I dont want to cover up the doors though. I want them just so it doesnt look so bare. Theyll be off to the side. We dont need them for privacy.

Well I did it. I bought cream colored curtains (not sheer but very lightweight). Love the look. Will post picture later. Thank you all!

I went with the cream color drapes because my kitchen is so dark I wanted to brighten it up. I thought tan would make it look darker and there is cream and orange spots in my floor. Just cant see in this picture. Im going to get orange and cream colored placemats...

I really dont want to cover the window panes as I have a dark kitchen. The french doors are the only way I get light into my kitchen other than a window over my kitchen sink. This picture really does not do them justice. The curtains do have a pattern in them...

On my old french doors I had the sheers on the panes and even with the light that passed through the kitchen was too dark. I agree with you about lowering the rod, though. Very good idea! Would love to have cider with you, as well.
