Kerosene Spilled in Car?
If you spilled on the carpeting, you should remove it if you can. If its on upholstery, you can try kitty litter or some baking soda. If the kerosene got into the back seat padding, its just going to take some time to air it out. Hope that helps.
Chili With Too Much Salt?
Sometimes if you add chunked up potatoes to soup they seem to absorb some of the salt. I dont know if this would work for chili, though. You might just make another batch, this one without salt, and add it to the first one. Chili freezes beautifully.
