Identifying Small Black Bugs?
Definitely not a bed bug. In seeing it in person, and viewing a myriad of images of actual bed bugs, they are nothing alike. It was also not on a bed, couch, etc. simply scampering on the table.

We must have different resolutions on our devices as when I zoom, Im not getting a blurry image. Maybe this is a better shot? Mind you, it was a very small bug, and its exoskeleton was quite crunchy when I smashed it after taking the photo.

Yes, I am in the States. Thank you for your feedback. Im now thinking its a flea beetle? Not sure how it got into the house, as Im not surrounded by much foliage. Thanks again!
