Repairing a Lace Tablecloth?
I have repaired crocheted items by using matching sewing thread and needle and going around the hole and pulling it tighter. Sometimes this works and you cannot see the repair.

Not a Holiday project, but re: emergency potty container, I keep a container, lined with a plastic bag, with tp roll inside, in my car at all times. Plastic bag liner makes it easy disposal, and it is fresh for next use.
