Thank you everyone for the feedback! Throwing the container in the dishwasher did the trick, then I measured it out into more manageable sizes and gave part of it back to the daughter with instructions to reliquify if necessary. :-)
How Do I Clean the Condenser Coils on a Maytag Refrigerator?
Thank you all very much for the info!! Found the brush at the local hardware store, finally got the faceplate off thanks to the people at said hardware store, and cleaned those dratted coils. Woo hoo! Now well see if that fixes the problem. if not, Ill be back...
