I dont know about milk shake stains but putting vinegar in the rinse cycle does remove stains. Do not pour vinegar directly on clothes, just add 1/2 cup to the rinse cycle.

I have always heard that hair spray works. It does have to be aerosol hair spray, or so I have heard. I have not personally tried it but I have friends who have, and they swear by it.
