For hard water stains in the toilet, I use a piece of pumice and really scrub. It has always worked without scratching. Give it a try.
Stretch Liquid Fabric Softener
This is also my favotite fabric softner, and what I do is make homemade dryer sheets. This works great and saves on the expensive softner. Soak an old washcloth in the softner, air dry and use in the dryer several times. Works great! Susie52 Henderson,NY
