RE: Homemade Cat Carrier
Zephy, my cat, seems to love riding in the car in this soda box. I carry her all around the house and take her on rides in this soda box. She gives me no problems what so ever. I tried the pillowcase but she seemed to be off balance as it is not flat when carrying. But each cat has their own likes and dislikes. Glad others have found ideas compatible with their specific cat. :) ... View related article.

RE: Making Candles With Drizzled Colors Down Sides
We use to take wax crayons and melt the on the outside of baby food jars and then use a regular votive candle inside the jar.

I also remembered a funny candle experience. I had a party and used some strobe candles. They put off a black smoke and after an hour or so everyone at the party had a black dot under each nostril where they had breathed the smoke. We dropped the candles in a bucket of water and threw them away... but people had black smokey noses for a day afterward. :) ... View related article.

RE: Cat Won't Stop Meowing in Car
Try just sitting in the car with your cat. Hold them and talk to them in a low soft relaxing voice. Leave the doors open at first and gradually sit in the car with the doors closed. Then place the cat in the carrier and sit next to them same way, the doors open and gradually with doors closed. Always have a soft cloth and maybe a toy in the carrier with them for comforts sake. I hope this helps. ... View related article.

RE: Alternative Uses for Dryer Sheets
Used dryer sheets are perfect for getting stuck on food out of pots, pans and baking dishes. Just fill the pot, pan, or dish with water and add a used dryer sheet. Let sit over night. The next morning just swish and wash. It works great! ... View related article.

Can I join yours? I am sure there are things I can learn from your club. Maybe later I can start my own. But, I would like to see how you operate yours. Thanks.

RE: Organizing Packets in the Kitchen
I hung a clear plastic shoe holder inside my pantry. It has hooks that fit over the top of the door. I keep my packets and other small items organized in it. Items are easy to see, stored out of the way, and convenient to reach. ... View related article.

RE: Keeping a House With Pets Clean
I also have 2 small dogs and a manx cat. I always brush the dogs daily outside. This keeps loose fur off the dogs and out of the central air unit. I change my air filter on the first day of every month. I bathe the dogs at least once a week. If you take their bedding outside and shake daily it will also keep dry skin, excess fur and dirt from building up in the house. I keep my dogs fur clipped short, but not short enough to be ugly. lol I also sprinkle baking soda on the carpets before vacuuming. Hope this helps. ... View related article.

RE: Use Empty Toilet Paper Rolls as Hair Rollers
I used juice cans way back when I was in high school also. I put my hair in a ponytail on top of my head and divided it into 3 sections. I rolled one back and the other two down on either side. I also ironed my hair... The only hair products back then were Dippity Dew and Alberto's VO5. ha ha ... View related article.
