Chicken With ButterA dish that can be made for dinner that's tasty. It can be served with rice, roti, or puri.

 

Apple Custard PieLine pie plate with unbaked pastry shell. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp. flour and 1/4 cup sugar over bottom. Pare, core and cut apples in halves; arrange cut side up in pastry shell.

 

Chinese Chicken Stir-FryPour soy sauce over chicken and mix. Roll in cornstarch until covered. Put 2 tablespoons of oil in skillet or wok. Fry chicken until golden brown.

 

7 Day ColeslawMix together cabbage, onion, green pepper and pimentos. Add the sugar and salt. Mix well and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.

 

Layered Enchilada PieBrown beef, onion and garlic in butter. Add seasonings, olives and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.

 

Perfect Sponge CakeQuick, easy and fat-free! Grease and base line a 9 inch round cake pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Sift flour and salt in a separate bowl, beat eggs on medium speed till frothy.

 

Gooey Gummy CandyMany kids love the gummy candy you buy in the store, so why not make your own for less money. You can also use small Halloween cookie cutters to make them into cute little shapes for Halloween!

 

Baked Cheese Olives Here we go again with my love of jalapenos and cheese, but this one has the added wonderful flavor of green olives. :) Make a double batch and freeze to bake at a later time for a quick snack.

 

Keep No More Than 30 TopsThis is an idea I've been slowly implementing. If you have 30 tops (many women have 150 or more including tees, tanks, sweaters, sweatshirts, long sleeved, short sleeved, dress blouses, cotton blouses, etc.), you could wear each top ONLY ONCE A MONTH for an entire year!

 

Cleaning A Stinky VacuumI too have had to deal with stinky vacuums and smells in carpeting from cats and dogs. The best thing that I have found was the enzyme odor cleaner at the local Oreck store.

 

Skunk Odor Recipe Works for Pet StainsA recipe for cutting through skunk odor is great for cutting through pet stains as well. It's a mixture of peroxide, baking soda, and dish detergent. I mix a small bottle of peroxide, half a cup of baking soda, and a couple squirts of Dawn.

 

Using Up Overripe FruitWhenever you have fruit that is close to going bad, instead of throwing it away, just cut, chop, or puree it in a blender and freeze in appropriate size containers for future baking or for yummy smoothies.
