Gorgeous deep purple lilacs! I kick back and enjoy the beautiful deep violet while they last. No Spring season is complete without them.

Reusing Onion and Orange Mesh Bags
I use the net onion bags for trips to the farmers market to carry home our veggies. Also some I cut up to use in the bottom of pots when planting to hold the dirt in.

Garden: Yellow Theme
This is my "yellow garden". The yellow bush daisies planted behind the yellow lantana along with the artificial daffodils used for filling in the bare spots (tee hee) compliment this gorgeous bench that a past customer from New York "donated" to me.

Redecorating a Girl's Car Seat for a Boy
A neighbor gave my son a booster seat they were not using. Unfortunately, the seat had pink decorations on it. After researching and seeing that covers for the seat would run about $60, I improvised.

Decorative Pot
Make a great addition to your patio or front porch with this decorated planting pot! I used a regular black color plastic pot, attached a variety of buttons around the top with a hot glue-gun for a neat way to add color to the pot.

Fun Decorations for Your Fence
Make your fence fun! I not only plant flowers and veggies, but I decorate the fence to make gardening even more fun. The ducks I purchased at the Goodwill for $1.00 each and they are made of hard plastic (like PVC material).

Wildlife: Cat Photos
I love watching and feeding the critters in the courtyard (which also has a creek) from my apartment balcony. Along with the squirrels and a huge variety of birds there is a neighbor kitty cat that hangs out there sometimes.

Concrete Block Raised Bed
My new raised bed garden has been amazingly productive. The large leaves of the squash and zucchini are providing a little shade for some of those that prefer less than total sunshine. That is a bonus in sunny central Texas.

Cut Foods Right in the Can
If you accidentally bought pineapple rings and needed chunks, you will no doubt have to cut them. Why drain them, put them on a counter cutting board or plate and create a mess?

Garden: Beautiful But Invasive Flower
In the eye of the beholder! Did you ever look at the weeds you pull from your garden? Believe it or not this is a close up shot of a tiny weed.
