Goldenrod Toast
This is a wonderful way to use up Easter Eggs. A traditional Easter morning breakfast at our house. My children are all grown now, but still fix this for their children.

Corn and Noodle Casserole

Penuche Icing
Melt butter in saucepan; add brown sugar. Boil over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in milk. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Cool to lukewarm. Gradually add confectioners sugar.

Baked Eggs with Cheese Tomatoes and Basil for Two
You will need two ramekins or other similar sized oven proof bowls and a baking sheet for this recipe. I've made these eggs with sharp cheddar, pepper jack and parmesan and all three ways were yummy. The next time I make these I am trying crumbled feta cheese.

Cucumbers on Rye
Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, ranch dressing mix and milk in blender. Spread on slices of cocktail rye. Add a slice of cucumber and sprinkle with dill weed on top.

Cream margarine and white and brown sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add pineapple, vanilla, soda, and salt. Mix; add flour and nuts.

Wild Rice Pecan Patties
Patties with a little crunch to it. Mix all ingredients except oil. Heat oil in 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Scoop wild rice mixture by 1/3 cupfuls into skillet; flatten to 1/2 inch.

Minted Peas And Rice
The mint gives it a fresh taste. Bring broth to a boil in a large saucepan over high heat. Add rice and bring to a simmer; cover, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 4 minutes.

Easy Cheesy Lemon Bars
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine cake mix, margarine, and 1 egg. Stir until moist. Pat in 13x9 inch pan, greased on bottom only. Blend frosting mix into softened cream cheese.

Prize Winning Peach Coffee Cake
This recipe took first prize in 1990 at the San Bernardino County Fair in Victorville, CA. It is a fairly quick and easy coffee cake to put together and is one of my family's favorites.

Surprise Skillet Dinner
Pat 3/4 of ground beef in bottom of cold electric skillet. Brown the remaining 1/4 ground beef and set aside. Layer vegetables over meat in skillet. Cover with soup spreading soup to edges of skillet.
