My parents had been married 59 years when this picture was taken. My dad was in the middle of fighting cancer and on chemotherapy. He had taken a fall the previous day and scraped his head.

My Grandmother's Boot (1900's)This is a shoe that my grandmother wore as a child, it was in the 1900's and I think it is so amazing. Unfortunately it is falling apart so I am taking photos of it. We love it so much!

Scenery: Storm Damage (Pennsylvania)Pennsylvania weather can be unpredictable at times! A snow and ice storm quickly swept through eastern PA one April a few years ago. The weight of the ice and snow caused this tree to fall right on the storage shed, causing major damage.

Wildlife: Cucumber BeetleI couldn't help but notice that this tiny bug resembled that of the place he was "nesting", the flower. The similarities seems to match perfectly and I knew, instantly, that I must document the phenomenon.

Garden: Gerbera DaisyI took this picture at the beginning of summer here in Texas. My favorite flower is the Gerbera daisy, especially the red one. I purchased the seed and grew this one from that, extremely proud of how well it grew and flourished I just have to show it off!

911 Memorial Made by ChildrenThe young children, on this day, September 11, 2010, made a tribute memorial to the twin towers and to the people who lost their lives on 9 11. Our cat, Tiger, liked it so much, he decided to take a cat nap on it.

Garden: Heirloom SeedsThis year is my first year for trying heirloom gardening. I didn't harvest peas for eating this year because I learned a little too late that they like growing in cooler weather. Next year they will be planed and grown for food.

Santa On VacationJack was a friend of my parents at church. He played Santa every year to the children in the church by visiting them at their home, one by one, with a candy cane and to take Christmas wish lists. He was a funny man, obviously.

Garden: Mama HenMy husband and I went on vacation and left my Dad in charge of the chickens. This little banny hen hid 2 eggs. She was setting when we got home. It had to be the cutest thing I have ever seen!

Travel: Cancun, MexicoThis was in Cancun. We were walking around shopping and it was in October, when pop up storms are common. This was a boat heading out to Cozumel, and just the contrast of the ocean with the sky and this big orange boat... beautiful!
