For Really Greasy DishesPut a 1/4 cup of vinegar in your dishwater or a 1/2 cup of vinegar in your dishwasher when you have really greasy dishes. Vinegar cuts through the grease.

Bake Two Cake Layers with One Cake PanMany times a cake recipe will tell you to use 2 round pans. I eliminate using 2 and use only 1 deep pan. Then when the cake is cool enough to handle I take a piece of sewing thread about 16" long and wrap it a finger on each hand.

Safari Style on a Budget? My sister is turning 12 this weekend and we are sending her off to her Grandma's house. We only have two days and three nights to completely decorate her bedroom into a safari theme. Her room is also pretty small and it seems cluttered with an entertainment center, twin bed, and dresser. How can I make this room have a spacious safari theme using the items in her room? Also what do you think of putting her mattresses on the floor and outlining the bed (just the wall portion) with plushy decorated squares as a border? Angie from Missouri

Need Help Creating a Sophisticated Bedroom?i am 23 and I need help decorating my bedroom. I want it to look sophisticated but represent my personality as well. Right now, my room is so plain, I have a canopy bed with light olive green and yellow drapings and a white bedspread. I also have this fantastic bright red and blue tapestry with an orange sun and moon in the middle of it and I really think it represents my personality. I want my room to be able to accomodate both styles. Should I just choose one? If so, what are some ways to do that? Clueless decorator, Angie from Missouri

Making Meatballs for the Freezer?I would like to obtain a recipe and instructions for meatballs that you can prepare and freeze to be used in multiple ways, like spaghetti, sandwiches, etc. I was told about a preparation method involving pressing the meat in a pan, cutting into smaller squares, and rolling each smaller square into a meatball.
