Grease Jar Tip - Keep the Mess in the SinkDo you make a mess when draining grease from cooked hamburger? I set my grease jar in the sink while spooning the grease. If I spill a little, no worry. I'll rinse the sink out when I'm finished. This also works well when filling a lunch thermos with soup or pouring a large batch of sports drink mix into individual bottles. Foodsaver UsesThat foodsaver vac 300 is useful for more than just food. I don't own one, but it would be great for packaging jewelry for a yard sale, salt for your husband's lunchbox, even as a type of laminator for precious keepsakes. I have a Christmas card from my Mother, who is now with the Lord. I keep it in plain sight in my kitchen and it gets a lot of dirt. Wouldn't the Foodsaver be great for it? By springmaid5

Repairing Dings In the Varnish On a Hardwood Floor? We recently installed hardwood floors in our house and sadly have some pretty major dings and scratches on the varnish from a chair. We had a chair with metal feet with rubber ends on the feet. The metal broke through one of the rubber feet and scratched the floor. Does anyone know of a way to buff these out to make them less noticeable? We have rearranged our furniture in a way that puts them in a high traffic area, the rest of the floor looks fantastic. Any ideas would be appreciated, Thanks. Jimmy
