Fried CabbageSaute' cabbage, onions and pepper in oil until tender. Serve with any sauce that you like. Soy sauce is very good! Serves 4.

 

Pineapple Ham LoafMix together all ingredients except pineapple. Divide into 9 patties. In a shallow baking dish, for a long roll, alternate a patty and a pineapple slice, starting and ending with meat.

 

Italian Pasta TossEasy, easy, and can be served hot or cold. Cook pasta per package directions. Drain and rinse and transfer to larger bowl. Add dressing, tomatoes and basil. Toss to coat.

 

Rhubarb-Strawberry CrumbleMix to make crust the 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup oats, and 1 stick melted butter. Press 1/2 of oat mixture into 9 inch pie plate to make the crust.

 

Bubba's Chicken Pour apple cider vinegar, apple juice and water in to bucket. Stir together well. Cover the surface of the mixture completely with the lemon pepper.

 

Pecan Chocolate Chip BrittleI like this because of ease in making, and taste so good. Perfect for working mothers, because baked in jelly roll pan, and broke up into pieces. No dropping dough as other cookies.

Crimp Toilet Paper Roll to SaveI just wanted to share that I found a way to save on toilet paper. Just put a crimp in it so that it does not go round and round so easily. By having the crimp, it stops and allows you to use a smaller amount instead of the waste of what you don't really need.

 

Craft: Plastic Milk Jug SnoopyThis snoopy is made from two plastic milk containers. I used black felt for the floppy ears, nose (the cap is left on one of the milk jugs), eyes, and buttons on the body. I cut a hole in the side of one of the milk containers for the head to fit over the body.

 

Bathroom BoxThis is a plastic canvas project. It is derived from a pattern for a tissue box cover, and can be adjusted to go with any tissue box cover pattern you want to use. These are the changes I am making to the pattern.

 

Garden: ScarecrowWe need to keep birds away from crops on our allotment, so I created Carolina (as she leans a bit!) and she is doing the job well. In her sleeves I've put empty plastic bottles so that the wind moves them easily. Her upright support is an old rotary washing pole.
