These wooden "books" could be painted different colors for different holidays with different names on the sides. This set is for Halloween.

Supplies:
acrylic paint
three 8x4x1 inch pieces of wood
paint brush
alphabet stickers
ribbon
hot glue gun
Steps:
Cut out three pieces of wood. Paint the top piece white on all sides except the bottom. Paint the second piece orange and the third piece yellow, painting the edges only.
Paint two or three more coats on each piece. Allow to dry thoroughly. Hot glue each piece together. Add stickers to spell out wording. Tie with a bow.
