Need Cinnamon Roll Type Recipe
I'm asking for your help on helping a friend find a recipe that her Mom used to make. (Her Mom is in a nursing home and doesn't know or remember much any longer, sorry to say.) My friend says it's along the way you make cinnamon rolls, but you use cottage cheese as a filling, along with cinnamon and chopped nuts. Thanks for any help! Terri H.
Chocolate Milk Using Hershey's Cocoa Powder
Does anyone have a recipe to make chocolate milk using Hershey's cocoa powder. I have two children who love chocolate milk and I was thinking maybe making milk this way would be less expensive. Any ideas? Melissa
Recycled Plastic, Twist Ties and Glue School Project
I'm looking for some suggestions for a school project. The item can only be made from recycled plastic, twist ties and glue. The end result must look like something useful, although I believe it is not actually going to be tested. Any ideas? Mom in Need
Smoke Smell In Food Container
Does anyone know how to get the smell of cigarette smoke out of rubbermaid food containers? They were given to me, and other than the smell they are in great shape, so I would like to keep and use them if I can get that smell out. Thanks a lot! Sheila
Removing Blood Stains From Fake Fur
Does anyone know a way to get blood out of fake fur? It's 75% acryilic, 25% wool with a cotton back and is machine washable. It's not a big stain and not too deep either-my nose just suddenly started gushing with blood and I couldn't move it out of the way quick enough! Any help is appreciated greatly, Catherine from England

This is a picture of me and our newest "furbaby" Donner. We are standing in the campground in Copper Harbor Mi on a cold but very beautiful day. Donner is a five year old American white shepard who was an orphan at the humane society.

Making a Durable Stencil
To make a permanent, strong stencil, save the hard clear plastic that comes out of bacon. Wash it, and draw your design on it and use an exact-o knife to cut it out. It is very durable and holds up well.
Heart and Tear Shaped Memorial Flower Beds
If you have a special person or pet you want to honor or remember, here is a design that I did in my garden. I made a heart design and a tear design by digging up the grass and making a flower garden and a shrub garden to honor someone special.

An Alternate to Shoveling Snow
If you get just a light, fluffy snow, before you bring, out the shovel, try using a leaf blower. It works really well and you may save yourself some work!
Refreshing Used Swiffer Cloths
Refresh your used Swiffer cloths by first hand washing to remove the inside dirt. To remove the particles stuck to the outside, it needs to be in a container to allow it to float. I do this in the bath tub.
Frugal Mouth Guard for Teeth Grinding
Because of nightly teeth grinding I was told by my dentist that I needed to wear a plastic mouth guard to save my teeth. He would fit it. The cost, $500, I'm not kidding. That was way out of my price range. Wal-Mart carries the Doctors Mouth Guard for only $20. I fit it myself, and it worked great.
Pockets On Kool-Aid Purses
Sew an extra pouch on the inside or outside of Kool-Aid bags to make a pocket.
Reusing Laundry Containers
I always hated to toss the empty plastic containers for softeners, laundry soap and other similar products. I decided that the lid could be used for different craft projects.
Keeping Hair Dye Off Skin
To prevent my ears/neck/hairline from getting covered in tell-tale dye spots when I dye my hair, I smear vaseline on them. Even if I do get dye on these areas, the vaseline acts as a barrier from keeping the dye off of my skin and wipes off easily when I'm done. By Ashley
