Shoe Keeper for Stuffed Animals
I always like to use an over the door shoe keeper. This can be adjusted for children and each animal or toy can be placed in separate compartments.
Store Bread Bags in Tissue Box
I use an empty Kleenex box, stand it up on end next to the inside wall of a cupboard, and put all my bread bags, bun bags, etc. that I want to save in it. I reuse them when I make bread or bake buns.
Tomato Substitute for Cassolet Recipe
I want to make cassoulet and I have a terrific recipe, but it calls for 1 cup whole peeled canned tomatoes, to which I am allergic. What can I use as a substitute?
Flourless Egg Muffins
This recipe combines favorite breakfast flavors in an easy-to-eat cup. Kids like it, and for those with gluten or grain intolerance, it's obviously safe to eat. These store well in the refrigerator and can be reheated in the oven, with a little water in an unused muffin cup to keep them soft.
Removing Ink from Leather Car Seat
A used printer ink cartage leaked through a plastic bag, it was stored in, onto the leather car seat. I have not touched the spot yet. It is the size of a quarter. It is on my front gray leather seat.
Bad Smelling Dryer
I've been reading every question and answer possible for finding a cure to the dryer smell problem, but haven't seen anything as far as to why my dryer smells like my teenage boy! I do laundry constantly.
Cleaning Microfiber Furniture
I am looking for a way to safely clean a micro fiber sofa. I am mainly thinking of the arms, they are dingy from use and there is one small ink stain from a pen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Adding Details on Craft Doll Faces
What is the best and fastest way to define the eyes and mouths on a craft doll, pillow face, etc.?
Decorative Fluorescent Light Panels
How can I replace the plastic light panels in my ceiling without using basic cracked or white plastic panels? I have six 2 by 2 panels framed by wood. I've seen some clouds or iron designs, but they're usually for larger frames and way expensive.

Removing Lipstick from Clothing
I dropped a lipstick on a white shirt and now I have a huge mark. How can I clean it off? I haven't done anything with it yet.
Have Multiple People Grow Wedding Flowers
I am getting married this July and am planning on growing my own flowers. I decided this in part to save money but also because I want a less formal feel to the floral arrangements. We have chosen to mainly use dahlias, along with paper flowers.
Craft Ideas Using Buttons
This is a guide about craft ideas using buttons. Buttons whether vintage, new from the craft store, or those salvaged from clothing before cutting into rags, make a great crafting item. You can use them as an embellishment or design the craft around the use of buttons.
Reuse Stuffed Animals As Dog Toys
My poodle "Fluffy" (now passed on) taught me that she loved "babies". She found a dirty little teddy bear and would not part with it. I got it away from her when she went to sleep and washed and dried it and put it back in bed with her.
Roxie is a 7 month old Weimaraner. We got our pet the end of July 2011, 4 days before we were to go in and deliver our third baby. She loves to fetch, all day long. She loves to run for the ball or stick non-stop. She is so smart.
Renovating a Small Home in Alaska
I have found that people fall into three categories. Those who have money to hire people with the skills they don't have, the people who get hired to perform these skills, and mine - I am the "I don't get paid, but have to do it anyway" type.
Drink Through A Straw To Help An Upset Stomach
When suffering from an upset stomach and you have to have something to drink, sip through a straw. Doing this will cut down on the air that gets to the stomach. I have noticed less vomiting when sipping instead of drinking.
This recipe is a family favorite. It's great for evenings when I'm pressed for time and want to put a good meal on the table quickly. I just add a couple of vegetables as sides to the patties, and I have a meal in about 30 minutes.
