Candid Moments at a Wedding
This photo is from my wedding in 1984 and is my most cherished picture of them all on that day! The little girl, Lindsey, was my flower girl and the child of my still bestest friend, Cindy, now for 42 years!

Shabby Chic Christmas Centerpiece
I already had an old pitcher filled with pink silk roses. To make it more festive, I simply tucked in some gold colored trim from AC Moore (about a buck a piece).

These are rag rugs that I make and sell. They are around my house on all of the floors. We enjoy using them!

Duct Tape Superhero Costumes
Making costumes can be a lot easier if you use duct tape. There are two ways I like: Make fabric out of duct tape and then make a costume like you normally would.

Christmas Tree For Less
Christmas for Less. I finally retired my 24 year old Christmas tree this year when I found this barely used, pre-lit tree at a yard sale for $5! I then found the perfect star topper, which I had seen at a local Target for $9.99, at Goodwill for $.99!

Craft: Family Keepsake Quilt
This is a family keepsake quilt that I made with a cross-stitch center. It is in country colors of pinks and blues. It was so much fun to create and quilt!

Under Seat Storage for Your Van
This was a project stemmed out of necessity but turned into something very handy. I have a van with front seats that sit high on their bases. Both seats are enclosed on the back.

Your local Dollar store carries a variety of plain and holiday printed hand-towels that provide an ideal and decorative way to use up your scrap ribbons, buttons, and fabrics.

Garden Cold Frame
You can build your frame any size you like but remember, you are going to have to weed some so you need to be able to reach across it. Mine was 2 feet by 6 feet.

Free Newsprint for Wrapping Paper
Most newspaper publishers have tons of end-rolls (rolls of unused newspaper paper) that they'll gladly give you for FREE! Even a small roll could be enough to wrap an entire year's worth of Christmas AND birthday gifts.

Recycled Jeans Hotmitts
My son is a career soldier and lives with only the basic necessities of life because the army moves him from one duty station to another. I used his microwave and noticed he didn't have any hot mitts. So I made him a man's set of hot mitts from an old pair of blue jeans.
