Tip: Store Necklaces Inside a Straw

When going on a trip, this is a good way to keep your necklaces from getting all tangled and knotted. Put the chains down a straw. In the top of the straw, make a small slit to hook the top of necklace to keep it in place.

Freeze Your Ham Bone for SoupWhen cooking a ham for the holidays and you've eaten all the meat, save the ham bone to freeze. Later you can pull it out of your freezer, throw in some beans with your frozen bone, and make a nice soup.

Removing Fish Oil From ClothingTo get fish oil out of clothes, first treat the oil with Dawn dish detergent. Let it sit over night and then wash. Air dry and repeat if necessary. Then treat the smell with pet stain remover. I used Nature's Miracle.

Use Craft Foam for Hanger CushionI recently bought some really nice hangers with a velvet type of covering on them so garment won't slip. They are extremely thin like wire hangers, which is great to save space, but when you hang a pair of pants, or linens on a wire or very thin hangers you get BIG time creases.

Metal Frame Under Sink to Hang Plastic Grocery Bag for TrashNever buy another kitchen trash bag! Mount a small metal frame to the inside of the door directly below the sink and hang plastic grocery bags from it. It's a great way to reuse all those store bags and easy to get at. I replace my bags every 2 days or so.
