Bzzz - Bee on Celosia Plant

These very tall Celosia plants were grown from pass-along seeds from our mechanic's wife. I have never seen these in the nurseries. The bees are oblivious to me and my camera as they happily swarm and devour the nectar. They are endlessly entertaining!

Black ButterflyOne day, this butterfly appeared inside my screened-in porch. I choose to believe it is my dearest friend, passed 4 years ago, returning for a visit. It was our favorite place to sit, sip sweet tea and chat.

An Angel in My GardenI planted cantaloupe vines in my garden close to a statue of an angel. The vines reached out to the angel and grew right into her hand, as if she was holding the vine. I looked at the back of the angel to find that she was carrying the fruit on her back. This is truly amazing!

Garden as Still LifeThis is what my garden is all about. The beautiful colors, smells, and tastes! It is like a piece of artwork when we harvest!

My Two Garden HarvestersMy two harvesters in our home garden. My husband and our loyal cat Annie, who follows us everywhere on the property (our Guard Cat..lol) harvesting a bumper crop of Brussels sprouts, green beans, peas, zucchini, tomatoes, cukes, and more!
