I rescued Shaka from a drainage ditch on the side of the road. I heard a car pull up in front of my friend's home. The passenger threw a carton into the deep drainage ditches we have on our road. In the carton were 5 baby kittens. Four of the kittens were very sick. The kittens were three weeks old.
I got Ava from Caring Hearts animal rescue in Nov. 2015. Ava loves to pick things up with her mouth, anything and everything, throw it in the air and catch it. She loves to play tug and play with her food dish.
We moved out to the country, in the middle of Texas. Two dogs were watching my husband from the woods, dropped off strays. He called them over and they were overjoyed and hungry. The next day they came back again. I couldn't deny these 2 devoted friends a forever, safe, fun home off the streets.
