As a retired teacher, I want to offer a bit of advice on holiday gifts for teachers. Gifts are never required, of course, but what no teacher needs are things with apples printed on them, or things that state "teachers are....".

A bag with bottled water for Halloween
Hand Out Water for HalloweenI want to do something different this year for Halloween. Besides the regular candy treats, I am giving water to the trick or treaters. I purchased some treat bags and inserted the small size water bottle, and tied it on top with strips of a plastic tablecloth that I bought from the Dollar General for a dollar.

A photo display for an important birthday.
Celebrating a Milestone BirthdayTo celebrate my daughter's milestone 30th birthday, I pulled out some of my favorite photos of her and the family and spread them on the table, then laid a clear plastic tablecloth over it all.

Spa Day PartyMy friend made a party at home for her daughter that the guests are still talking about. You will need a couple of friends to help. The girls had their hair styled and got manicures and pedicures.
