Great idea! I also found that the parmesan cheese jar tops (the green ones) fit my Ball jars and other canning jars. Comes in handy for sprinkling...also plastic (sorry) screw tops from mayo jars will work also. Isnt this fun? Learn something new each day!

I have had only one glass pickle jar to crack and break in the microwave so far. So, lesson learned. I now defrost in the fridge overnight before putting it in the microwave. That was a mess of spaghetti sauce!
