When I dislocated my hip I was in agony and totally immobilised. I had to have a general anaesthetic to have it put back. If your dog still has a dislocated hip, she will be in great pain.

I agree with WD40 - I have used it with success to remove left over sticky from labels. Brasso may also do it - but not so good on polished furniture.

How To Prevent Lettuce Rotting In The Fridge?
I put lettuce in water - as with a cut flower - making sure the cut on the stalk has not sealed itself (if it has, I just renew the cut). The lettuce stays fresh. I just pull off leaves as I want them. I change or top up the water frequently.

Keeping Greens Longer
To keep lettuce fresh I sit it in a bowl of water; I take the leaves I want and make sure the stem hasnt healed over before replacing in the water. If the stem has healed, just slice a slivver off.
