Cherry Freeze
Can I ask what Eagle Brand milk is? Is it condensed or evaporated, or something else entirely?

What is this plant? (Miniature Hollyhock)
It looks like a pelargonium to me, which, I have been told, is the Rolls Royce of Geraniums, but Id have to see the flowers a little clearer. Are they bell shaped, with a dark inner ring surrounding an almost white center?

Easy Spiced Apricots
Hi there seems to be a typo in the recipe. Honey is listed twice in the ingredients, and vinegar is not mentioned until you get to the method.

Sophie (Corgi Mix?)
What ever mix she is, she is beautiful! Though with those eyes Id say there may be a little husky in there as well.

Wilson The Dog
Wilson is very much an adorable dog, you are very lucky. He looks as if he might be a collie cross.

Is Cooking From Scratch Still Financially Beneficial For Small Families?
I love cooking from scratch, but like you was scared to start for a long time. To start with it seemed expensive because I had to by all those herbs and spices, extra flavorings, and things I have never had to use before, but, after less than two weeks of cooking...

Is Cooking From Scratch Still Financially Beneficial For Small Families?
Oh and I cook for just the two of us, but everything is made for four, and half is frozen to eat the next week. :-)

Solution for Shoes that Slip?
Or a cheap alternative if you have a hot glue gun is to put some hot glue where the ball of your foot goes. It will after a while rub off in bits, but it is easy enough to replace.

Need Recipes For "Unusual" Vegetables?
Turnips can be sliced and diced and used in casseroles, stews and soups. Leeks just slice and use in any or all of the above. Beet Im not so sure about because of the UK/US translation. But if they are red with beautiful dark green leaves, you can eat the leaves...

Recipes Using Condensed Milk?
BONOFFEE PIE! take a ready made pie base. Boil one can of condensed milk, (without opening, as above), and spread contents over pie base. Top with sliced banana and cream. Enjoy!

Keeping Your Aquarium Clean?
Sorry this is so late, Ive been away for a while. If you mean your water is getting cloudy then its the food you are feeding your fish. Not all fish foods are the same, and many muck up the water. Ask at the shop where you bought your fish or supplies from...

Empty Milk Carton for Watering Plants
Apparently the bacteria that grows in off milk is (forgive the pun) like nectar to plants, so when the milk carton is empty, just fill it with water and pour the manky stuff over plants liberally. I have used it, with great success on everything from Cacti...

Stuggling Rhubarb?
I agree with Beth, but I would like to add a tip my grandfather gave me that still works today, water it with a bottle of fizzy lemonade for the first few days after transplanting, not sure how it works, but it also works for houseplants in need of TLC, and...

Fly Deterrents that are Safe for Dogs?
Try planting sage around the area, flies hate the smell of the stuff and steer well clear, I grow it in my kitchen for that reason, and if a fly should accidentally come it, it is comical watching it try to get out again as fast as possible!

Degenerative Disk Disease Remedies?
Yep! Im another fellow sufferer. I dont know if it has helped, but I take calcium and vitamin D tablets, but I also do Yoga to strengthen the muscles that support my spine. To put it bluntly I was diagnosed at the age of 16, and told I would be in a wheel chair...

Can Microchips in Dogs Move?
When I had my cat micro chipped two years ago, the vet told me they can move (or be moved by the pet) and that it was a good idea to have your pet scanned every time they visit the vet to make sure it is still in place.

Uses for Toilet Tanks?
Plant mint in one! It is a wonderful herb, but it likes to take over the garden, so your tank would make a wonderful container for it!

Uses for Scrap Fabrics?
Scented Sachets for my wardrobe hangers and drawers often appear in the material my dresses are made from. I have used left over curtain material to line knitted and crocheted bags, its stronger than most lining materials you can buy and a lot cheaper!

Stinky Tevas?
I use bicarbonate of soda, just a pinch rubbed into the soles of shoes that are inclined to hum, and if the reaction is strong I also rub it on my feet too before wearing. It works wonders, and is a lot cheaper than some expensive powders you can buy.

Tips for Dry Skin?
I suffered with dry skin for most of my adult life to the point where my skin would sometimes even crack and bleed, then I read about a very old fashioned remedy that was also very cheap, and as I have tried almost everything else I thought Id give it a go...
