You probably used too much dishsoap and not enough water. I did too the first time I tried. It has to be r-e-a-l-l-y diluted...only 3/4 to 1 inch of soap and the rest water, mix gently. Worked great for me!

Pasta Salad from Leftovers
I save leftover pasta in the freezer, too but instead of a salad, I thaw, add veggies (again leftovers) a little butter, milk and parmesan cheese. Heat thru and serve. Makes a great side dish.
