I love to save money by making items for partys I can plan a party around almost any theme on a budget. Decorations, games, even food, and presents. I rasied 4 children and all their birthday parties were done this way. Now my grandchildren have started having birthday parties this way. I even started a home busniss

A girl dressed in a black spider costume.

Halloween Costume: SpiderThis is a spider costume I made. It is a long sleeve turtle neck shirt, skirt and black pants. For the shirt, I took 4 black pant legs stuffed them and sewed them to the shirt under her arms.

Preschool Homecoming Mums

Preschool Homecoming MumsSmall mum with ribbons, charms, etc., just like their high school friends. This can also be used for a boy's garter.

headless figure

Halloween Costume: Headless HorsemanThis costume has always won first place any time I have used it. We usually have someone lead the child around for safety.

Opps bunny in flower pot.

Bunny PotThis is a oops bunny that got stuck in a flower pot hiding the eggs. I used a 4 inch flower pot, a 4 inch Styrofoam ball and a Styrofoam egg, with craft foam for the feet pads.

Skakeboarding ramp cake.

Skateboard CakeThis is a skateboard cake for an 8th birthday party. My friend wanted a skateboard party for her son. We could not buy a cake that fit the theme. This is what we came up with.

A bubble gum machine Halloween costume.

Halloween: Bubble Gum Machine CostumeDress child in clothes. Cut arm and neck holes in bag. Put bag on the child as a shirt. Tape the bottom opening tight around their waist. Fill the bag with the balls from neck opening.
