I am looking for a playdough recipe that I can bake. I've tried the salt dough before and it never works out. Any ideas? Thanks.

I am looking for a playdough recipe that I used to make for children and must make for my grandson! I have seen several different types of recipes but the one I am thinking of you do not have to cook, but I remember I had to add dish soap!

| Building a Swing Set

Does anyone have a free blueprint for a wooden swing set they could send me? Or does anyone have ideas for building a nice swing set for not too much money.

Mix the white glue and food coloring together in a small bowl. Pour liquid cornstarch into a small second bowl. Slowly pour the glue mixture on top of the liquid cornstarch.

| Cheap Bathtub Toys
have found that bathtub toys for my young children are expensive and don't last very long. So, what I've been doing is saving the plastic coffee containers (new ones from Folgers) in the small and large sizes. My girls love to pour with them, add a little soap to 'make an experiment', put the lid on and shake!

| Jar Lids as Toys
A great "toy" for a toddler: Save all your plastic jar lids (from mayonnaise, peanut butter, etc.) Save different colors and sizes, the more the better. I did this for my kids and grandkids. They can be used as: Building blocks, to identify colors, to count how many of each color there is, as play food (make a sandwich by putting a larger one between two slightly smaller ones, etc.)
