I am in my 60s, and have been baking since I can remember. Every holiday season, I churn out many dozens of cookies for gifts for neighbors, friends and relatives. People ask for certain types every year.

Transporting Hard Boiled EggsWhen there is a family dinner, I am not allowed in the house without my deviled eggs. I always boil them and once they are cooled, cut them in half and take out the yokes. When it comes time to transport them, I always dealt with them sliding in the container. Two days ago, I dropped one in the container, and it fell in upside down.

Hydrogen Peroxide as Easy Stain RemoverAll you need is peroxide and a Q-tip. Pour a little peroxide into the cap and dip the Q-tip in it so it's saturated then dab it onto the stain you are trying to get out! This works on anything, even dried up blood. It will not take the color out of the fabric that you are using it on!

Recycled Christmas Card CoastersI like to make Christmas coasters from recycled greeting cards. Cut the front off of a Christmas card and with Mod Podge paste it to the front of a 4 X 4 white tile. On the back paste a piece of sheet cork cut to fit. It takes about an hour to complete the coaster including drying time.

They make great arrangements, wreaths, garlands and, my personal favorite, artificial tree and garland filler! I have a older tree that needed a little help! By cutting and tucking my limbs between the openings making this a great filler for my tree, garland and other arrangements for free!

Combining Dollar Tree HeadbandsI went to the local dollar tree and get 4 nice wide headbands. But, they were just a bit too tight. In fact, they hurt my ears. So today I fixed them by cutting them on the seam and tying them together. I have a nice comfortable one, that is multi-colored!

As sad as it was that Christmas was the best Christmas. Just the three of us together. Store Round Tea Pods in a Pringles CanI just got some Tetley Green Tea and when I opened the box, I discovered the bags were round. Makes sense really, if your cups are round, the bags can be, too. No strings, staples or paper hangers. I am in love.

How NOT To Bake Individual PiesAt about ten minutes before the pie should have finished baking, I looked to see how things were progressing. The only thing left on the cooling rack was a couple of cherries and a few bits of crust. All the rest had fallen through the rack into the pan beneath. (I'm still laughing).

Storing Books on Open ShelvesI bought a 72 inch H, 48 inch W, 24 inch D storage shelf. I made a burgundy panel to go on the end to prevent books from falling. Books can be shelved from both sides. Will house double the books from a single book shelf.

Wrapping Electric Cord for Under Cabinet LightsI have plug in LED under cabinet lights in my kitchen. The cord only needs to be about 12 inches, but it's about 30. I just had an idea to use a tension rod. Just wind the cord around the rod and snap into place. It cannot be seen by an average height person.
