Making a Stuffed Bear Holding Wooden Blocks
I was recently at a bazaar and someone had a stuffed bear with blocks spelling out the child's name. There was a dowel rod put through the bear's arms and the blocks between the arms with some kind of cap on the ends of the dowel rod.
Crispy Reheated Pizza
We love pizza and usually buy the large one for just the two of us. Of coarse, we always have enough left for another meal or snack. To reheat and keep the crust crispy just heat in a non stick skillet and med-low till warm. The crust will remain crispy.
Smash Nuts for Baking
An easy way I discovered to crush the nuts is to place them on a large sheet of wax paper, fold the wax paper over the top of the nuts and use a rolling pin to crush the nuts, pushing down and rolling.
Rinse and Reuse Coffee Filters
I use the natural brown unbleached coffee filters for my electric coffee pot and the non-electric one cup cone coffee maker over and over again. These can be carefully rinsed and air-dried to reuse and still work like new.
