Identifying Tiny Bugs OutsideCan anyone identify these bugs? They were outside on my wooden patio cover. They completely covered it and I spent several hours spraying them with an environmentally safe bug killer. It barely works so I sprayed them with the hose. There were millions of these. I live in northern California. The temp was about 75 to 80 degrees today. They must have just hatched. I didn't see them yesterday.

Any info would be appreciated.

Possible Abandoned Duck NestA duck who for the second year in a row has laid eggs in my front flower bed. She laid her eggs around March 30. I know it takes about 28 days for them to hatch. She's been on the nest day and night. Yesterday morning I noticed a broken egg shell outside the nest and by her nest. When I went out early this morning to check on her, she wasn't on her nest. Do you think she's abandoned the nest?
