A loaf of pepperoni cheese bread on a cooling rack.

Pepperoni Cheese BreadMost of the quick bread recipes I find are sweet quick breads. This was a nice change of pace to find a recipe for a savory quick bread.

A plate of Caprese chicken severed over rice.

Caprese ChickenI love caprese. I have tried all sorts of different ways of using tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese. And of course olive oil. How did we not know about this years ago? :)

A can of crab meat.

Easy Crab CakesIf you have canned crab meat on hand, these crab cakes are extremely easy to make, quick and tasty! You will have a meal ready in less than 10 minutes. (1 pound can yields 6 generous sized crab cakes.)

Using a chip clip to close a cut tube of toothpaste.

Get Last Bit of ToothpasteI use Biotene toothpaste and it is not cheap. When it gets down to where it's hard to squeeze out of the tube, I cut the end of the tube off. This makes the toothpaste, that is left in the tube, easy to dip out and enables me to get every smidget of tooth paste out of the tube. To keep it fresh, I fold the open end over and put a clamp on it. By doing this, I can get 10-12 more brushings out of the tube of toothpaste.

A container full of watermelon chunks.

Cutting Whole WatermelonFresh watermelon is so delicious this time of year; with a little planning and these easy tips, it'll be faster, with less mess.

A hammer holding down helium balloons.

Transporting Helium BalloonsI buy lots of helium balloons. All of the birthday parties in my family are hosted by me, and I handle all of the decorations, party planning and food. Who doesn't love grandma's cooking!

Questions

A Lane cedar chest.

Help with Lane Cedar ChestI recently inherited my great grandparent's Lane cedar chest and I don't really have room for it. I'm looking to get rid of it but have no clue of the value. It has some scratches and such but the inside seems nice. The lock is still the original one so I'm not sure if it would be more valuable as such or switching to the child safety lock.

A bisque baby doll with brown hair.

Information About Bisque DollI found this antique doll in the trash. I have been searching for weeks trying to identify it but to no avail. It is a 16-inch, bisque head/arms and legs, a cloth body, painted hair, and obviously the clothes. There are no markings, except inside the head and one of the legs is an "etched" letter 'B'. There are no tags on the clothing. Can anyone please help me find what this is?

An ornately carved side to a dining room table.

Identify Antique Paris Dining SetAntique dining set I inherited. I had a friend of mine look at it and he says it is mahogany wood and there is stamps on some metal hinges that say "Brevets Vc Paris" and "E. C. D. G." The carving is very artistic and the hinge and sliding lock is pure quality. Table seats up to 12.
